Ridley Scott helms a script by Sleeper Cell scribes Ethan Reiff and Cyrus Voris as they tackle this revisionist take on the Robin Hood legend, which finds the noble Sheriff of Nottingham attempting to deal with the exploits of a less than virtuous Robin Hood (Russell Crowe) while gradually being drawn into a heated love triangle involving the legendary thief and the beautiful Maid Marion.
